It comes with plenty of ready-made questions, but you can also create your own to ask about anything specific you’re curious about.

Once you’ve signed up, head over to your account online and check the Downloads tab to find the plugin file.

Once downloaded, open your WordPress site and navigate to the Plugins section in the left menu. Click on Add New, then select the Upload Plugin button.

The first step is to create your initial UserFeedback feedback widget in the form of a survey. Don’t worry about making it perfect right away—you can always make changes later.

First, you’ll find some ready-made questions available.

Once you’ve made your edits, click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page to proceed.

Step 2: Choose What Features to Enable

Next, you’ll see a list of features that you can enable for your feedback widget.

The number of available features depends on the UserFeedback license you have purchased.

Step 5: Edit Your Survey

Now, it’s time to fine-tune your feedback widget. You can refine the one you’ve just created or start fresh with a new survey.

To modify your existing survey, head to your WordPress admin area and navigate to UserFeedback » Surveys.

Hover over your survey’s name, and when the Edit link appears, click it.

On the following screen, you can adjust your survey questions and update the message people see upon completion. This is also the place to add new questions, tweak existing ones, and refine your thank-you note.

Once you’re satisfied, click the Next Step button at the bottom of the page.

You’ll arrive at the Settings page, where your survey can be personalized further.

At the top, you can toggle Google Analytics tracking via MonsterInsights on or off; however, it’s recommended to keep this feature active for tracking purposes.

In the Targeting section, specify where and when your feedback widget will appear. You can choose which devices (like mobile or desktop) and pages should display your survey.

The Behavior section lets you control how and when the survey shows up, how long it remains visible, its run duration, and whether it starts small and less noticeable.

After configuring these options, click Next Step at the bottom.

On the Notifications screen, you can opt to receive an email whenever someone completes your survey.

Finally, proceed to the Publish page. By default, the survey is set to go live later. If you want it to start immediately, simply turn off the Schedule for Later option.

Click Save and Schedule once you’re ready.
